What is Project_LA?

Project LA is a solutions journalism project for the city of Los Angeles.

It’s a hub for exploring ideas about how to make Los Angeles a better place to live and thrive.

It’s coverage will be focused on urban policy, advocacy, history, solutions, events, legislation, opinions, etc. all as they relate to our city.

It aims to be somewhere in between a news publication, a wiki, and a community action network.

It is called a “project” because it is an experiment. One that is on-going and ever evolving and that hopes to change and grow over time through collaboration and bringing in additional contributors.
